Odili Donald Odita will exhibit work as part of the series “Perspectives 169: Odili Donald Odita” at the Contemporary Art Museum Houston from February 11 – May 2, 2010.

Odili Donald Odita is interviewed by Kelly Baum, Locks Curatorial Fellow for Contemporary Art at Princeton University Art Musuem about Odita's recently commissioned wall painting at Butler Commons, Princeton University.

Odili Donald Odita is included in a group exhibition titled, "Wild is the Wind," curated by Laurie Ann Farrell at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) from January 8 - February 28, 2010. Artist in this exhibition included Ghada Amer, Lara Baladi, Kilu Kia Henda, Nicholas Hlobo, Penny Siopis, and Zineb Sedira.

As part of the exhibition, "Wild is the Wind," Odita will participate in the symposium "Africa on My Mind: Contemporary Art, Home and Abroad" held in conjunction with SCAD's Third Biennial Art History Symposium from February 26 - 27, 2010.

Odili Donald Odita has been invited to give the keynote address at a Graduate student symposium on Contemporary African Art hosted by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art in Washington DC on Saturday, December 12th, 2009.
 
Odili Donald Odita’s work was featured in the Financial Times of London's weekend magazine for Saturday, November 7th, 2009 in the article, “How To Spend It – Art of Africa: Contemporary African Art Is On The Way Up”.

Odili Donald Odita’s essay, "Color Matters" was published in the magazine and online journal, "Glimpse: The Art & Science of Seeing", Autumn 2009, Volume 2.3.

Odili Donald Odita's paintings are included in the new book, “Painting Abstraction: New Elements in Abstract Painting” by independent critic and curator, Bob Nickas, published by Phaidon Press.

Odili Donald Odita’s paintings and wall painting installations are included in the new book, “Contemporary African Art Since 1980” by Okwui Enwezor and Chika Okeke-Agulu, published by Damiani Press.

Odili Odita gave a lecture on October 9th, 2009 on his recently commissioned wall painting for Princeton University at Butler College on Princeton's campus.

Odili Donald Odita has been commissioned by the Princeton University Architecture and Administration Office to produce a wall painting installation for Butler Commons, a new building designed by Pei Cobb Freed Associates.
